Breakdown is utterly, utterly beautiful. I'm sure someone else recorded it too. Any answers?

William Powell had a beautiful voice. I know he passed in 1977, did he have children?

Nosey,
I had heard about it and found it on youtube! I was in awe when I heard this song. Mr Powell was always my favorite Ojay he was so apple pie and I thought he was smooth.

Thanks for putting this up. I heard Nina Simone's version first and thought hers was the original. Wasn't this song written by Van McCoy?

Nice voice, frankly, I'd never heard William on lead. Sounds to me that he should've had a few more leads. Hey, I'm an O'Jays fanatic, I can still critique the group :>)
