Hi Guys I was listening to some music last night and came across a Kylie Minogue track co penned by Dino Fekaris.I thought "Hmm aint that the fella who wrote I Will Survive?" checked in my windows library and sure enough it was. He also co wrote one of my favourite Gaynor tracks Let me know (I Have A Right).also came up in my library was Chaka Demus "She Dont Let Nobody" dont know if that was an error or not. Had a look on google and couldnt find anymore info on him,Im interested in the guy who wrote I Will Survive he must have earned a nice sum from that song.Can anyone tell me anything more about him? I now that he wrote some songs for the Motown Band "Rare Earth" and The Tempts recorded a couple of his tunes if memory serves but you are obviously in the right place for answers. Pete Rivera & of course the Godfather can surely fill in the blanks. | ||

I haven't been in touch with Dino in years. I'm sure he is around somewhere. I do know that trouble arose when he produced an album on Rare Earth and things went south with all involved. | ||

Most of Dino Fekaris's output on Motown was in collaboration with Nick Zesses. Together they wrote "Mother Nature", recorded by the Temptations, and produced albums by Riot and by Matrix. Before joining Motown, they had recorded "Wish I Was a Kid Again"/ "Boy" for the Impact label. |
