Any Nell Carter fans here? I always admired this ladies talents. I had always wanted to see her show, and missed it when she performed in NYC in the late 80's I think. Always regretted that.

I was a big fan of GIMME A BREAK. And just the other day, one of the networks showed an AMEN episode where she and Sherman Hemsley showed just how good they were at physical comedy.

Saw her on Broadway in "Ain't Misbehavin". She could really dance, too.

Nell could do ANYTHING. I loved her to pieces. Such talent, such comedic timing. She gave looks and double takes that rivaled Bea Arthur.

I saw her in Ain't Misbehavin years ago. I guess it's personal taste as I can't stand that nasal quality to her voice. RIP.

I always enjoyed her Gimme A Break show & I do remember her being on Amen & how funny that episode was. I miss a lot of those shows. I use to really like Family Matters back in the day & came across a couple of episodes while flippin channels & couldn't watch it...just too silly.
