Rufus featuring Chaka Khan was the second concert I ever witnessed (Ben E. King being the first). Belmont Park in 1980 for the low price of...drum roll please....$2. At one point I thought that Chaka was singing directly to me, only to find out that a fight broke out right behind me. I was so fixated on Chaka, that I didn't notice anything else. LOL! |

Forgot about Rick James and the Isleys (who I heard wasn't too good live anyway). I saw Dr. John at Monmouth University back in like 1998 or 1999. Autographed two albums for me. One sported a cover that was designed by his then brother in law (Destitively Bonnaroo). |

Never saw the Beatles live. As a teenager, I would have died and went to heaven. (Was so enamored of George.) |

I've seen most of the Motown acts when they visited the UK in the 60s and 70s, but somehow I missed out on the Isley Brothers and Jimmy Ruffin. I also never got to see Rose Royce. |
