I was told back in Feburary at a gathering that the Dells has a replacement after the passing of Johnny Carter. Whether it's true or not but I got it from two reliable sources. The member taking Johnny's spot is -- BOBBY HUTTON. Can someone elaborate on this Q . | ||

All i can add is that Marvin Jr, confirmed the acquisition of a replacement. Marvin's knee surgery must have been a spectacular success. | ||

I am awaiting a copy of the exact e mail from the Dells sent to their UK representative, but basically they want to scotch the rumours about Bobby Hutton joining and let it be known they have no immediate plans as Marvins knee recovery has some way to go. This response was a result of the Dells, being forwarded a copy of this discussion. As fans we all hope for more positive news in the future.If I hear any more I will post. | ||

I'm not trying to start any controversy or trouble let me explain... Folks I was told of Bobby being the choice to replace Johnny by Verne and/or Mickey, and later by Bobby himself at a gathering, back in Feburary. I thought someone else in the group that had knee problems? Though I didn't know it was Marvin Jnr. The Dells did a show back in May. I couldn't make it, so they'd must have had Bobby in the lineup by that time. I was told their website was down at the time. If anyone who attended their show back in May in Indiana -- Please post. Doowopvoice: A record collector told me IHHO that if the Dells would have gotten "Mudbone, to replace Johnny we have been his pick. In a way I kinda agreed. The only way you can hear "Mudbone" on all of Bootsy Collins' recordings and P-Funk. I can tell which recordings but you have to be pacific. He has a MySpace, Twitter, and Facebook page. I had to come back to this post. I thought about this a lot for days. I apologize to anyone for me spilling the beans on who would be Johnny Carter's replacement. I thought all who are truly soul lovers would might be interestewanted to know. Now if there will be copies of this post sent out to the Mighty Dells, then include this statement. If there is a conflict within the group, promoters, or legally or otherwise. I truly apologize. I talked with my parent and told them of this post.
